McAlpine MacValve -7 trap, 40 x 40 mm

Description

Can be installed both horizontally and vertically. Note, when installing horizontally ensure that the arrow points in the direction of flow. The membrane opens due to the pressure of the waste water and allows it to flow away freely. The membrane closes itself so that odours and sewer gases cannot escape. Can be installed in existing situations as non-return valve to prevent backflow, also functions as an air admittance valve. May be used in air conditioning condense drainage or as overpressure valve in a central heating system. Waterless trap, can therefore never dry out due to evaporation or infrequent use of the discharge device. Is not recommended for installations with no access for maintenance. Do not use chemical unblockers in the MacValve. Material: PP. (polypropylene).
