Honeycomb stabiliser sheeting is designed to ensure that the gravel "does not run away", as it were. Gravel is kept in place by a hexagonal grid on top of a layer of geotextile, which prevents the gravel from sinking and so you can easily walk or drive over this "stabilised" layer of gravel.
Grass stabiliser sheeting prevents ruts and puddles forming in grassy areas where cars drive or many people walk. The sheeting spreads the load evenly over the ground and at the same time prevents the soil being washed away or dispersed by vehicles. So your grass will stay green. We also offer a grass reinforcement mat on a roll, which you can apply for temporary or permanent protection of your grass. Easily rolled out of the grass and secured with pins; and you can drive over this matting with a car. Within a few weeks the matting is incorporated in the grass and you don't see it any more, while you have all the benefit of a sturdy grassy area.
