Van Walraven was founded in 1968 and started with selling pipe clips. From there more and more products were added and the company kept expanding in the Netherlands, nowadays we supply almost everything that has to do with water from supply to drainage, valves, sanitary, HVAC, PPE, tools and offer services like pre-fabrication and rental. Recently we have also added products for electrical engineering. Our products are used for civil, commercial, industrial, infrastructural, marine & offshore and residential applications.

Today Van Walraven is still family owned, there are 15 locations across the Netherlands with more than 400 employees and we have exported our products to over 80 countries in the world. Our headquarters is in Mijdrecht, located near Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and we also have a branch office in Europe’s largest seaport in Rotterdam. At our main warehouse with 40.000m² storage, we stock over 65.000 products. If you can’t find a product in our range, we will do our utmost to find a supplier.

Our focus is on quality, therefor we work with renowned companies like ACO, Blücher, Geberit, Georg Fischer, Grohe, Grundfos, LG, Viega and Watts to name a few. We have been active in the field of sustainability for years. We see it as our duty to continuously expand sustainability within our organization and in the relationship with our partners.
Every year we draw up a CO2 Footprint, which we have tested by KIWA. In this way we can see whether the various measures have the desired effect in achieving our objectives.

CO2 emissions in 2020 were 11.02% lower than in 2019!

It goes without saying that we are constantly working on reducing energy consumption in our business premises (read; Led lightning, energy-saving lamps, heat recovery units, replacement central heating pumps and extra insulation), minimizing water and gas consumption.

We separate the waste into plastic, paper, wood, iron, PVC and other waste. The use of packaging within our logistics process is kept to a minimum. Business operations are increasingly digitized, reducing paper consumption.

In addition, we encourage our colleagues to cycle to the workplace through our bicycle plan.
We support De Bovenlanden foundation for the maintenance and development of a cultural-historical and important landscape element in the municipality where our origin lies.

The Management System helps us control and improve our business processes with the aim of permanently meeting the needs, requirements and wishes of our customers and other stakeholders, thereby increasing customer satisfaction.
