You will see the terms SN 4 and SN 8 with these pipes, previously these were class 41 and class 34. These codes indicate the stiffness class of the pipes, the ratio of the diameter and wall thickness. In certain situations, a stiffness class SN 8 is prescribed, while in other situations SN 4 is sufficient.

The Van Walraven experts are happy to advise you. PVC pipes are recommended in the Dutch National Sustainable Building package because PVC can be recycled. You can return used PVC to Van Walraven for recycling.
